Assistant Club Coach
Overview: You have a desire to learn and grow together with the climbing community and are excited to learn more about the sport of climbing and progress in the industry. You are hard-working and see opportunities to excel in this position. You have a readiness to learn and to be trained in the industry standard techniques for proper belaying, as well as how to teach belaying to groups in an enthusiastic, positive and thorough way. You enjoy working with customers and approach them in a welcoming and engaging way. You have a passion for working with youth, helping them achieve their potential, and you are excited about growing our community!

Assistant Club Coach Duties:
•Provide excellent customer service
•Administer gym orientations
•Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management
•Be versed in risk management
•Build community and provide safety oversight
•Belay for parties, groups, and youth programs
•Work with Head Coach to create and implement lesson plans
Assistant Club Coach Requirements:
•Safe Sport certification is a plus, must be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire (company sponsored)
•Customer service background
•Desire to learn and share climbing knowledge
•Must be available weekends (preference will be given to those with Sunday availability) and some evenings
•Must be available to work 10-15 hours a week
•Must be able to get Top Rope Certified at our facility and effectively teach a belay class after training, so some experience is preferred
•Some basic climbing experience and knowledge required
•Experience working with children required
•Ability to adapt to a variety of safety and customer service situations
