Welcome to Vertical View! We’re so glad you’re here! Our goal is to make climbing a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone, no matter where you’re starting from. Climbing with us isn’t just about tackling walls; it’s about building community, having fun, and discovering something new. Here’s a bit of info to help you get started, but we’d love for you to stop by, take a tour, or jump into a class to truly experience what we’re all about. We can’t wait to climb with you!

Start by signing our Facility Waiver!
Participants and spectators must complete our facility waiver. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.

Ready to get climbing? Our Belay On course is a great place to start! In this one-hour class, you’ll learn the essentials of belaying and safety techniques from our experienced instructors, so you can climb with confidence.

Fitness Deck
Our fitness deck at Vertical View is fully equipped to support your strength and conditioning goals. Featuring Rogue rack systems, a wide selection of free weights, and a versatile cable machine, we have everything you need to build power, improve stability, and enhance your climbing performance.
Climbing Specific Training Area
Our climbing specific training area is tailored to help climbers build strength, endurance, and technique. Equipped with a 45-degree spray wall, campus board, and full hang-board setup, it's designed for focused training sessions.
Infrared Saunas
Our Infrared Saunas provide a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. Step into a world of soothing warmth and experience the incredible benefits of infrared therapy. With radiant heat that penetrates deep into your body, our saunas promote detoxification, improved circulation, and stress relief. Indulge in the serene atmosphere of our private sauna chambers, designed for your comfort.

Absolutely! First-time climbers often start with bouldering, as it requires no certification or rope skills—just complete a waiver and watch our facility orientation video. New climbers can also try top rope climbing if they have completed our Belay On course or passed our Belay Test Off.
Our Belay On course teaches the essential skills needed for belaying, helping you pass our Belay Test Off and access the gym for roped climbing anytime.

A day pass is $20 for ages 12 and up, and $15 for ages 11 and under. Kids 3 and under climb free.
Rental gear is available separately—$5 for a harness or shoes, or $10 for both.

We have harnesses and climbing shoes equipped for every age, even toddlers! Our climbing routes vary widely between beginner to advanced levels, making it welcoming for every level of climbing ability.
Other gym age limits:
-Top Rope Belaying: ages 12+
-Lead Climb & Belay: ages 14+
-Fitness & Training Areas: ages 12+
-Yoga & Fitness Classes: ages 12+
-Children 12 & younger need supervision from someone 16+ at all times. -
Nope! We have everything you need to learn how to rock climb! Vertical View Climbing Gym is a mentoring gym. We offer many Climber Education courses for all levels of climbing and our front desk staff is always happy to answer any questions! On your first visit, a team member will give you a brief orientation. This orientation will go over the basics of climbing, gym amenities, and will provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions.

Climbing equipment is meant to handle any reasonable force that a person can place on the system, as long as the equipment is being used to industry specifications. Our Auto Belay systems have a weight range from 25lbs - 310lbs.

Belaying involves managing a rope to keep a climber safe. The belayer controls the rope's slack, catches the climber if they fall, and safely lowers them once they're done climbing. It’s an essential skill to learn and practice, and one of the first things we cover in our Belay On Course.
