FAQs

  • You must be 18 years old or older to sign up. Anyone under 21 years old can participate in the Happy Hour, they just cannot drink adult beverages.

  • Yes! We will group “free agents” and incomplete teams to create teams of four. This will happen on a first-come, first serve basis.

You can sign up with your own team of four if you have a team picked out!

  • The score is relative based on your flash grade, not the actual V-grade you complete. For example, if your flash level is V3 and you climb a V3, you will get 10 points. If another person’s flash level is V8 and they climb a V8, they will also get 10 points. Your team can win even if you don’t have the highest V-grade! It’s all about having fun, working together, and climbing harder!

Completing boulders that are harder than your flash grade will progressively earn more points for your team (5 points for every grade above your flash level), whereas completing easier boulders, relative to your flash grade, will earn you fewer points (2 less for every grade below).

Each week, you will score your top 4 climbs and total up the scores of all four team members. The top 3 scoring teams at the end of the 5 weeks will win prizes!

  • You can submit your four hardest climbs completed during each Wednesday night of the competition (from 5 PM - 8 PM).

Note: Two of these four climbs must be NEW problems that you have not scored for in previous weeks.
